Nicolas Cage ‘considers’ buying a foreclosed $26M house in Las Vegas to give to his wife who is 42 years his junior

Nicolas Cage, the renowned actor, once considered repurchasing his former Las Vegas mansion, which he lost to foreclosure in 2009 due to unpaid taxes totaling $14 million. Despite losing the property over a decade ago, Cage expressed nostalgia and fond memories associated with the house.

Last year, he revisited the mansion twice with his wife, Riko Shibata, before it was eventually sold for $6 million. The seven-bedroom, 10½-bathroom house, previously owned by Cage and his ex-wife Alice Kim, boasts luxurious amenities such as a commercial elevator, a 10-car garage, and a home theater.

Although Cage did not repurchase the property, his visit underscored the sentimental value attached to it. Throughout the tour, Cage reminisced about the happy moments spent in the house, indicating a deep emotional connection to the property. Despite losing ownership, Cage’s visit to the mansion symbolized a trip down memory lane and highlighted the enduring allure of his former residence.
