Kevin Garnett names the only player he believes will score more points than LeBron James

The discussion about LeBron James’s place among the NBA’s all-time greats is contentious and divisive. More and more people think he should be placed first or second, but there are also many who think he should be put much lower.

For James, being the NBA’s all-time leading scorer and living to an unprecedented age are the two greatest achievements that will go down in the annals of his legacy. Actually, he has scored more points than any other basketball player in history.

It has prompted some to wonder if there is a contemporary player who might maybe score more than the Los Angeles Lakers legend has scored in his career. According to Kevin Garnett, a retired Hall of Famer, Luka Doncic is the only active player capable of doing it (h/t The Cold Wire).Doncic has amassed an outstanding young resume in just six seasons, and he is only 25 years old. His career regular-season average of 28.7 points per game ranks third all-time, behind only Wilt Chamberlain and Michael Jordan, and he has scored 11,470 points rapidly.  In spite of the Dallas Mavericks’ lackluster roster, he guided them to the NBA Finals with an average of 33.9 points, 9.8 assists, and 9.2 rebounds per game this season.
The Slovenian international is not in peak physical condition, according to many. Maybe he can beat James if he trains on the treadmill or begins swimming to increase his endurance and stamina and if he avoids serious injuries.

Doncic must have a strong desire to play in the league for an extended period of time; nevertheless, the exact duration of his desire to remain is an open topic.
